A Pre-Demolition Survey is used to locate and describe "as far as reasonably practicable" all asbestos containing materials (ACMs) in the building, prior to demolition

This type of survey will involve some destructive inspection, as necessary, to gain access to all areas, including those that may be difficult to  reach

We recommend this type of survey be carried out at least three weeks prior to demolition, some types of asbestos materials require a 14 day wait by the HSE before removal can take place.

This Type of survey can only be carried out on a building that is void
