An asbestos re-assessment survey is very important, its fundamental use is to ensures that the ACM's are in good condition for the buildings every day use.

This survey is critical to prevent people living or working within the building to accidental exposure to any ACM's that might have been damaged since the last assessment was carried out.

Although the asbestos management survey or a previous re-assessment shows the location and condition of a material, they only do so at that particular point in time. Like all buildings, materials are subject to wear and tear and can become damaged.
